Shelwin Jafet Cruz Rodríguez, resident of the city of Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico. His passion and commitment to education in the field of barbering and styling has been a priority that has led this Juanadino to achieve his dreams and conquer places by sharing his knowledge. He has had the opportunity to compete nationally and internationally representing Puerto Rico. In 2006 he began his studies in the area of education. He is currently a stylist with the Per Capelli Salon by Chapu family in the city of Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico and also works as a barber teacher at the José Felipe Zayas Vocational School of the P.R. In 2018, it launched its first working tool under the PreciZion line. A hair styling comb designed specifically for professional use. This comb facilitates the desired hairstyle with the cleanliness and precision that every stylist wants to have at work. Its characteristics make this tool unique. Social media has been key in publicizing Shelwin Jafet's talent and being able to share a unique tool with professionals in the field. Shelwin Jafet belongs to the Olympic team of the Puerto Rican delegation, where in 2018 he competes in the OMC in France, positioning himself as the fifth best barber stylist in the world in the Low Fade Cut category and fifth place as the best team in the world in the technique category. His love for teaching will always be his goal and to help a new generation of beauty specialists. In 2019 he is nominated in the "One Shot Hair Awards", winning the category of "Men Shot" of the Hot Shot. Shelwin Jafet has stood out as one of the influential barber stylists of the moment, taking his knowledge to different parts of the world to offer his seminars and workshops in schools, presentations at beauty events and training of professionals with the latest trends in the area of the barbershop for both public and private companies.
